******Update: Today, Wednesday, January 16, 2008, we FINALLY got snow! I have added a Jonathon 2008 gallery. So far, the only album in this gallery is Jonathon's First Snow. I will try to make timely updates to his picture galleries, but no guarantees (I just hope that I can be more diligent than I was in 2007!).
I have also added a new picture gallery - Ermerins Family. in this gallery, I will put pictures of our immediate family (Paul, Tammi and Jonathon). This is where you will find the pictures that Tammi took during our New Years Eve 2008 Party.

Happy New Year everyone!!! Hope the New Year sees everyone in good health!
Well, as it turned out, Christmas was in Nashville, TN instead of in Knoxville, TN. Haven't seen Don and Mary's new home yet. Hope to see it in the next few months. We had Christmas with both sides of Tammi's family. We spent Christmas afternoon at Tammi's Grandparent's house (Owenby). We had a great Christmas meal early in the afternoon and then everyone opened Christmas presents. Around 5:30, we went over to one of Tammi's aunt and uncle's house (this time on the Allison side of the family). Again we had lots of food and more Christmas presents were opened. We got back to our house on Christmas afternoon and Jonathon opened up all the other Christmas presents he had waiting for him - we didn't take many unopened presents with us to Tennessee - car space can be a premium. I have all of Jonathon's Christmas pictures posted in his picture gallery. I hope to get the Owenby/Allison family pictures up soon. Speaking of Christmas gifts, Jonathon got, Thomas, Thomas, Thomas, and some more Thomas stuff - and a few non Thomas things, too. You can see his stash in his gallery.
For New Years, we hosted a New Years Eve party at our house. It was a rousing success. We had about 28 guests and most of them stayed from the time they got to our house (starting at 6:00p.m.) till about 1:30. Tammi cooked enough food for 50 people and almost everyone brought a dish of some kind. (Can you say leftovers?!) For the most part, the women and kids stayed upstairs (women watched a movie and talked and the kids played with Jonathon's toys in the guest bedroom) and the men spent the night in the basement playing pool, watching football and drinking. Another successful party! Our next party will probably be around the 4th of July holiday.
